this was a cool app. i would like this app more if it had a quicker button change, and an open key like a different color or something to show that its an open key. i would like this app a lot more if that were the case. thank you for reading this review and i hope these updates will be made soon!

This is the worst trumpet app ever!!! And belive me I no cuz I have tried EVERY trumpet app there is and none of them are even comparable to a real trumpet!!

I think its pretty good. But it could use some tweaking to make it easier to play. And playing open valve notes requires you to press outside on. The free space. But yeah. Im looking forward to the update!

It is way too hard to know which mouth thing to use, and I couldnt even play a scale. I can play very well in real life, though.

I am a first trumpet out of my 500 kid school, and first trumpet out of jazz band, and I have to say, the sounds are nice and realistic. The valves are nice and easy to use, but there is one thing to change, the mouthpeice pitches... It takes a bit of time to get used to changing the pitch every time I go up a half octive. If that could be changed to be easier to use, this would earn 5 stars! Great job, especially since its free, just try to make it easier to change pitches. I do relize that making a trumpet app is not the easiest thing, especially since it would be near impossible to change dynamics, and do all the fancy jazz stuff likes slurs. Overall, very nice app, recommended to both beginners and veterans.

Haha This is a fun app but if u could fix the problem when u have 1,2 pressed and switch mouthing it keeps the 1,2 for the open note. I am not the best trumpeter (only played 4 years now), but I was first chair 6-9th grade. It has a nice sound and I agree that it would be hard to make a trumpet application but if u could fix those bugs along with making pitch switches easier it would be and easy 5*

The sounds are semi realistic. But the buttons u have to push to change from a low C to a middle C is annoying. U cant really play any kind of song on this program bc u have to push those other buttons or u play the wrong note. And it makes the sound waver bc of having to do so... But if u could find some way to change oct. W/o those buttons this would be an awesome program.

It works pretty well except sometimes the valves get stuck and the open partials are on the bottom and not the top.... Doesnt make sense to me as a brass player

Sounds still get stuck playing once in a while, but the interface makes more sense now. I still would love to see muted trumpet sounds added :)

Im not sure if this can do trills but it seems that i havent yet found out how if it does. Sure you can switch the register but its not fast enough. I play trumpet and love this app but i wish there could be mutes, trills and an easier way to play scales or songs. Overall though, its great and I love it! You should get it too if you like trumpets

The hardest part of using this app is the 2 handed coordination, I dont like having to put a finger down for open notes (e.g., middle C, G ect) And I dont like having to press different buttons in order to change the embouchure. (although I think its very innovative) I wouldnt mind being about to switch between button mode like it has now, and a blow into the mike mode. All and all its a neat app for the non trumpet player. But for someone whos been playing for 13 years like me its just eh.

Having to press 8 different buttons to swith ranges makes this very difficult to play, as does the method for playing open notes (pressing somewhere on the screen where there isnt a button). It also glitches a lot, playing notes that you arent pressing, and it wont register notes if you start to play too fast. Overall, this app is too difficult to use to make it worth your time.

I used to play the trumpet way back when and recently thought it would be nice to play some of the old tunes. Of course, I didnt have a trumpet. Enter iTrumpet! I really enjoyed using this app :) the scales and some of the music I used to play started coming back to me and spent an exorbitant time enjoying this app!

I love this app! It is fun to whip out and confuse my friends for a second! It is fun and easy. I like it a lot and recommend it!

I had a ball with it until my wife couldnt take my talents anymore. Maybe thats an extra feature for some couples.

Its a cute little app and fun to play around with, especially when youve been playing for around 8 years :D. My one concern is that when you play a note, it stops and sounds..icky. I would love to (not) see that in the next update. Also, having a mute and such would be a nice addition. Overall, get it for 99¢.

I play trumpet in real life and have been for 6 years, and when you play a double high G (H5 open fingering) it is loud! The notes get softer as they rise?BS! This is nothing like a real trumpet, I suppose if your mental and dont even know what a trumpet is than youre fine, but if you want to buy this to actually play a song, have fun trying to play anything that takes more than a 5 note range. To bad I cant rate 0 stars, because this is the worst iPod app known to man.

How is this a paid app? Its garbage. Nothing even remotely close to a real trumpet. Ive played for 18 years. This makes no sense. Having to tap open space to play open notes, and switch octaves with the left hand? Waste of a dollar. Good thing it was gift card money, otherwise I wasted 2 tacos at jack in the box
